He is wearing cricket whites, Lancashire cap with red rose crest on the front, wrapped leather tubing batting gloves, pads and belt. Trees in background. Located at Hove County Ground. Message on reverse reads: "Dear [?] I go to a dancing class every Wednesday at the Angel but was not very well yesterday - all right today. Dad comes home tonight, - Dog got V.H.C. From [?] Dorries." Sent to: Miss Chilton, 190 Osbourne Rd [?] Green Edward VII half penny stamp with Foregate postmark, 20 April 1904, 3.30 pm.
