Postcard depicting a coloured cartoon of John Tyldesley playing a cut-shot. He is wearing cricket whites, pads, wrapped batting gloves and dark Lancashire cap with red rose crest on the front. Lancashire red rose top-centre.
Message on reverse reads: "Dear Birt, many thanks for fruity [?] which I am delighted with sorry I have sent you smoke as Ethel said you had got plenty."
