Description
Cricket game in progress showing early curved bat, with more 'baseball-like' batting action, two stump wicket and scorer with notching stick sits in the ground.
This crude version of 'Cricket at the Artillery Ground' was copied from an engraving printed in 'The New Universal Magazine' on 4 April 2743, not from the original Francis Hayman picture which is now lost.
