Spliced cane handle, twined. Straight blade, indistinct swell. Worn toe with slight damage. Blade bound with twine. Maker’s marks face. Signature and match scores to face.
Bat autographed by W L Murdoch with which he as Captain of Australia, scored 153 in the First Test Match in England, 1880, and 117 against eighteen of Newcastle.
