Message on reverse reads: "Dear Lucy how are you getting on when is uncle coming home if he dont come you will have to come and stay with me can you play cricket can you ride a bike how do you like [?] side I am getting on nicely all by myself the cat comes in to see me some times when I let her how is your letter [?]".
