Postcard depicting a black and white phototyped group portrait of the 1878 Australian Cricket Team in England, twelve players and manager are positioned in two rows. All players wear Victorian cricket whites with nine wearing striped pill-box caps and one wearing a plain dark pill-box cap, two wear striped ties and one wears a white cravat, two wear pads and guantlet keeping gloves. The manager wears a long overcoat and bowler hat. Postcard unused. Text states: "The Australian Broadcasting Commission is grateful for your courtesy in expressing to it your appreciation of its recent Cricket Broadcast. It is gratified to know that you enjoyed its description and trusts that those which are to follow will give you still more pleasure."
