Both are wearing cricket whites, pads and Surrey caps with 'S' crest on the front, with Abel tucking holding a bat in right hand rubber dimpled gloves in left hand. Jephson has a bat tucked under his left arm and putting gloves on. Spectators watch on in background. Series No.4154. Message on reverse of front states: "When are you going to write to us. Have you got Braund's postcard because I've bought it. Much love from all. Your loving G. Yeo." Message on reverse states: "Dear Kenneth. Just fancy J.N. Crawford is top of the 1st class bowling averages with an average of 15.96 is'nt it good. W.L. Smith is second. I will send you the averages in a letter. In the second innings of the North v South match Hayward made run out 0 poor thing. North won, so far for Rest of England he has made 31 not out." Sent to: K.J.
