All players are wearing cricket whites with four wearing v-neck cableknit sweaters with varieties of striped trim, two hold Yorkshire caps with white rose crest on the front and one holds one, one wears an MCC touring cap with St. George and dragon crest on the front, one wears a Nottinghamshire cap with coat of arms on the front, one wears a Sussex cap with martlet crest on the frontm one wears pads and gauntlet keeping gloves. Pavilion filled with spectators in background. Players names on reverse. Note reads: "Hobbs aged 47 3/4, V C Jupp (Capt) Monday Sep 8th 1930 for Lord Hawke's XI (MCC outgoing SA team)."
