Given with "Champion". Biography on reverse reads: "J. S. Ryder (Victoria and Australia) Ryder's 201 not out and 88 in his first Test v. England was a magnificent achievement; his previous best - and a very good best, too - was an aggregate of 334 runs with an average of 11.3, in three Tests v. South Africa. Ryder is this a prolific batsman. He is also a more than useful right hand bowler, slightly above medium pace, and may, therefore, be termed one of the best all-rounders among the present team."
