Biography on reverse reads: "Sydney Cricket Ground. This ground, scene of many historic games, will accommodate over 50,000 people, and is regarded as the best appointed Cricket Ground in Australia. The "barrackers" familiar to followers of the game, gather on a part of the ground called the "Hill." It is possible, if the crowd is not too dense, to sit on the grass slopes and watch the game in progress."
