Front cover is an illustration of a fielder taking a catch to his chest. Chapters are: 35.1 Taylor Triumphant Mark Taylor's monumental 334 is the highlight of a rare series victory for Australia in Pakistan. 35.2 Ginger Joy Shaun Pollock's nine wickets and two fifties from Jacques Kallis set up a hatd-fought victory for South Africa as this exciting five Test series gets underway in Johannesburg. 35.3 Ashes Agony After beating South Africa, England travelled to Australia with high hopes. But even though the weather helped in Brisbane, defeat at Perth and Adelaide meant it was all over. Or so it seemed. 35.4 Windies Wilt Once More The second Test at Port Elizabeth is dominated by the ball but the South African depth in batting proves decisive. 35.5 Melbourne Miracle England's thrilling victory at Melbourne will be remembered as one of the truly great Test matches. With Australia apparently on course for a three-nil lead, a four hour last session produced a dramatic climax. 35.6 Kingsmead Catastrophe Even a return to form by Brian Lara and a Test best performance from Franklyn Rose cannot halt the South Africans at Durban. Jonty Rhodes plays the innings of the match to seal the series. 35.7 Sydney New Year Fireworks A packed house at the SCG was enthralled by another epic match, which scotched any possibility of Ashes series being reduced to three Tests, as the Waugh twins, Gough, Slater, Headley and MacGill claimed centre stage. A wonderful adverisement for Test Cricket. 35.8 Merry Go Round A musical reprise of some of the highlights of 1998.
