- Form und InhaltTrading card depicting a black and white photographic portrait of Richard Palairet taking guard at the wicket. He is wearing cricket whites, leather tubing batting glove, Harlequin cap and pads. Series No.14. Biography on reverse reads: "Like his elder brother LIONEL, REGINALD PALAIRET's record as a Cricketer takes Repton School, Oxford University, and Somersetshire as its three stages. A severe injury to his knee interferred to some extent with the early part of his cricket career ay Oxford. Still, even under this disadvantage he played consistently godo cricket for the University during the last two years of his residence there. Last summer in particular, he was one of the mainstays of Oxford's Batting. Plays in good style, and with a variety of strokes generally scores fast. An excellent field, even handicapped as he was while at University. A good Association forward until his football was stopped by the accident mentioned."
