Eleven players are wearing cricket whites, two wear Oxford University blazers with initials crest on breast pocket, two wear dark blazers with thin white stripes, one wears a blazer of the 1901-1902 England Tour to Australia with checkered trim and royal coat of arms on breast pocket, four three wear plain dark blazers, one wears a white or cream blazer and one wears grey blazer. One wears a Somerset blazer with dragon crest on the front, two wear straw boaters, two wear caps with coloured segments, one wears a sun hat. One player wears a three-piece suit and panama hat, two hold pipes.
Postcard is unused but has green Edward VII half penny stamp with Ilfracombe postmark, 17 August 1904, 1 pm.
