Biography on reverse reads: "Hard-hitting left-handed opener who has taken a little longer than expected to develop. Sound against pace but can struggle when the ball is moving around. Good temperament and has excelled at county level, but will be looking to take the next step up on this tour. Particularly useful in one-day contests where he scores at a rapid clip.
