Trading card depicting a coloured illustrated head and shoulders portrait of Robin Hobbs. He is wearing a white shirt and MCC tour sweater with red and gold stripes in the centre of two thin black stripes trim. Series No.12. Biography on reverse reads: "R.N.S. Hobbs. Robin Hobbs' county career lasted from 1961 and 1967. He was a leg-break bowler, unique in his day, being the only one of his type to command a regular place in county cricket. He was a good lower order batsman, who could hit spectacularly and had the ability to cut improbably, and was a splendid cover fielder. He played in 7 Tests between 1967 and 1971 but could not hold a permanent place. He was a regular tourist, making ten such trips between 1963-64 and 1973-74. He took 1,009 wickets in his career, as well as making 4,940 runs and taking 294 catches. In 1975 he hit a century in 44 minutes against the Australians, the fastest ever against a touring team. Returning to cricket in 1979, he spent one season as captain of Glamorgan, and played two more seasons there. He has since become an accomplished after dinner speaker."
