Biography on reverse reads: "E. Hendren. Known all over the world as "Patsy," Hendren is still one of the greatest batsmen playing. For the past nine seasons he has never failed to score his 2,000 runs. This is his third trip to Australia with an England team and his fourth in all. Last season he was here as coach to the South Australian Association. He is to settle in Australia when his playing days with Middlesex are over. Hendren is considered the finest outfielder in England. When he last played against Australia it was said that he saved his country fifty runs every day that Australia batted."
