- Scope and ContentScrapbook of reproductions of drawings and paintings of cricket and cricketers. The scrapbook includes drawings of the following individuals playing cricket: William Ward, Richard Letby, William Davies (the 'Scorer'), James Henry Dark, Nicholas Felix, Alfred Mynn, Duke of Wellington, Sir R Peel, Lord Morpeth, Sir W Follett, Lord John Russell, Lord Stanley, Sir James Graham, Edgar Willsher, George Griffith, James Lillywhite, W H Caldecourt (the 'Umpire'), Edward Gower Wenman, R A FitzGerald. The scrapbook also contains a picture of cricket played by the Gentlemen's Club at White Conduit Fields in 1784, a picture of a game of cricket between Kent and All England in 1845, Greenwich Pensioners' Cricket Union at the Priory Grounds near Lewisham, a picture of Miss Wicket and Miss Trigger holding a cricket bat, cricket poems, The Eleven of New England at Boston, Massachusetts on 28 September 1850, Cambridge University students playing cricket in 1843, cricket at the New Ground, Charterhouse, a cartoon series entitled 'Cricket Nightmares', letter from North Dunedin Cricket Club to the captain and team of the All England Eleven requesting a match between the two teams in 1864.
