1 film, A Bat, A Ball and A Boy, presented by Coca-Cola. The film is about a young boy called Geoff who is learning to become a professional cricketer, and is taught how to play cricket primarily by Richie Benaud, with assistance from Ray Lindwall, Neil Harvey, Keith Miller, Bill Lawry, Bob Cowper, Peter Burge, Arthur Morris, Wally Grout, Barry Jarman, A K Davidson, Graham McKenzie, Neil Hawke. Benaud also interviews Don Bradman about his love of cricket and how the game has changed since he played, the way cricket coaching has changed, Bradman's lack of coaching when he was a youngster, the changes to field placings since he played, and Bradman's favourite players. The film includes footage of Test matches played by Australia as well as cricket matches played in Hong Kong, Hawaii, the Australian Outback and Australian schools. The film's aim is to encourage young cricketers and interest all those who love the game.
